After training as a chef in Sydney at Italian restaurants Lunico and buon ricordo Jason caught the travel bug and fell in love with the cuisine of South-east Asia. His love of Thailand and its food took him on a journey hitch hiking and sleeping in the local temples. This allowed him to sample some of the best home cooking on this earth.

He then spent the next 3 years travelling around Asia learning all about its culinary secrets.

After a brief stint in Cairns working on the private yachts he returned to Sydney to continue his love of Asian food at Longrain (2 hats) and Sailors Thai (2 hats).

After a few more trips overseas, Jason helped with the pre opening of Bistecca a Tuscan inspired steakhouse dedicated to the Fiorentina or T-bone, before moving to the Sunshine coast of Noosa to start the next chapter of his life.

Jason can be found enjoying the waves and water of Noosa, wandering around the farmers markets or walking his dog on the beach. He is more than happy to point you to some of his favourite spots on the coast and to make sure that your perfect dinner comes together.
