Kirsty comes to you with over 20 years’ experience in the Sydney and International fine-dining industry.

She began her stellar career at the tender age of 16 in Newcastle, NSW and then completed her apprenticeship at The Bathers’ Pavilion, Balmoral. She further paved her career by working at three hatted Sydney establishments, Banc and Pier restaurants. Being mentored by chefs such as Liam Tomlin, Warren Turnbull and Greg Doyle.

In 2006 Kirsty moved to London and worked at two Michelin-Star restaurant, The Ledbury, Notting Hill. There she learnt from the best, working in the intense kitchen of celebrated chef, Brett Graham.

In 2008 she joined Guillaume Brahimi, working at three-hatted Guillaume at Bennelong. She took on a multitude of roles including pastry chef and head chef. As Guillaume’s right-hand woman, Kirsty was integral to the success of such a respected and celebrated institution. Kirsty continued to with Guillaume, moving to Guillaume at Paddington in 2014.

Events

Kirsty’s involvement with Guillaume Brahimi also included the co-ordination and execution of many high-profile events. Ranging from small and intimate to large-scale productions, Kirsty has successfully assisted in creating outstanding menus and dining experiences for many diners including high profile politicians and celebrities.

Home dining

Kirsty is a chef and mum of two. She’s also married to Sydney hatted chef, Kevin Solomon of Cottage Point Inn fame. Recently adding to their family, Kirsty’s career is heading in a new direction, home dining. Replacing the fast-paced hatted kitchens for the exciting home-dining scene, Kirsty looks forward to sharing her love of food and fine-dining with you and your special guests.
