Since a very young age Daniel developed an interest in exploring different countries and their cultures. He believed the best way to understand them was through their food, and this became his obsession.
Daniel was born in Columbia where he started off his career working in local restaurants. Soon an opportunity came up as chef on Fraser Island where he was introduced to the indigenous flavors of Australia.
After Fraser Island Daniel moved to Adelaide where he developed a fine appreciation for local produce and where he would later become the Head Chef of the reputable European Georges on Waymouth.
His latest and most important achievement in his career was becoming the Head Chef of the three hatted restaurant The Bridge Room in Sydney where he worked intensively for two years. In his opinion two of the hardest yet most amazing years in his career.
