Julio Castellano is a Sydney native growing up in Bondi Beach. He has been cooking fine cuisine for over 12 years and has worked whilst travelling around the world at high-end restaurants.
Julio gained experience and worked with different styles of food such as: Modern Asian, Thai, Spanish, Italian & Japanese in some of the world’s best known restaurants in cities including Sydney, London & Madrid
Julio’s resume boasts experience at hatted restaurants such as Longrain, Icebergs Dining Room & Bar, and Otto’s Ristorante Italiano in Sydney (all holding chef hat awards), El Chaflan in Madrid (holding a Michelin Star) and Zuma in London (holding 2 rosettes & recently ranked in the top 100 restaurants of 2010.)
He now uses this extensive knowledge and experience for private catering, consulting, writing recipes & Food styling for respected clients, magazines, cookbooks & Television. Julio is also regarded as a celebrity chef on Australia’s lifestyle network & does on going projects for them.
