Dukkah, with various spellings is an Egyptian condiment consisting of ground nuts and spices. Usually based on hazelnut, with dried mint, sesame, salt, pepper, orange zest and various other flavourings. Often with the addition of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or pine nuts.

Fantastic sprinkled over baked white fish, poached eggs or as a seasoning to poultry.
