Gentleman’s relish
Gentlemen’s relish is traditionally an anchovy paste originating from England in the 1800s. Gentlemens relish usually contains anchovy, garlic, herbs, butter and occasionaly tomato paste. Over the years many variations of Gentlemens relish have surfaced but you can nearly always expect a rich, salty strong flavoured condiment, great with grilled meat, fried food and crusty white bread.
