Harissa

Harissa is a North African hot smokey chilli pepper paste. Usually made from Serrano chilli, roasted red pepper, coriander seed, garlic and laden with oil as a preservative.

Often regarded as Tunisia’s most famous staple, Harissa is popular in modern Moroccan recipes and mouth wateringly good with grilled or BBQ’ed red meats and salads.
