Often also known as lady fingers or gumbo, Okra is from the mallow family. Abundant in western African and South east Asian countries.

Okra is high in fibre, full of vitamin C and known for it’s antioxidant qualities. Best cooked quickly to avoid it’s renown sliminess, Okra blends well to stir frying and other high heat cooking methods.
