Ratte potato

Ratte potatos are a strain originating from France known for there unique rich buttery quality. Sometimes described as having a nutty flavour they are commonly mashed, crushed or roasted.

Usually ratte potatoes have a perculiar shape, rendering them difficult to peel and sometimes simply washed and roasted skins on.
