What is a wonton?

A wonton is a popular type of Chinese dumpling. They can come with a variety of different fillings (traditionally they would contain minced pork)  and can be prepared fried, often served with a dipping sauce, or in a broth.

What are wonton wrappers made of?

Traditional wonton wrappers are made of a combination of wheat flour, eggs, and water. The mixture is turned into a dough and is wrapped around many different types of meat and or vegetable fillings.
