Labne

Labne is essentially strained yogurt, with many different spellings and many variations from different origins. It could be described as yogurt cheese, which becomes incredibly moreish during it’ straining process.

Most commonly associated with the middle east, labne is great with spicy dishes as a coolant, with flame grilled meat or served with a variety of salads.
